This year’s Golden Globes featured some of the best celebrity looks from award season. Men and women in movies and television gathered to celebrate each other’s works, and the fashion didn’t disappoint. The best-dressed celebs opted for classic Dolce & Gabbana glamour. Here are the favorite celebrity outfits from the 2024 Golden Globes.
Tyler James Williams – Dolce & Gabbana Suit
Tyler James Williams, last year’s winner for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical or Comedy for television’s “Abbott Elementary,” got noticed on the red carpet with his incredible suit from Dolce & Gabbana. His suit combined a wide-leg silhouette with tan pinstripes and a large floral boutonniere.
Elizabeth Banks – Strapless with Swarovski Crystals
Next on the red carpet was megastar Elizabeth Banks, director of “Cocaine Bear,” who went with a strapless dress adorned with hundreds of Swarovski crystals. She completed her look with stunning drop earrings, slicked-back hair, stiletto heels and a statement ring.
Angela Basset – Off the Shoulder
Last year’s Golden Globes winner for best supporting actress, Angela Basset, chose a sexy off-the-shoulder look for the red carpet for 2024. Her Dolce & Gabbana dress featured black velvet and a mermaid silhouette. She added color and constant with a white clutch purse and red drop earrings.
America Ferrera – Pearl Grey
The next celebrity who made a splash was America Ferrera from the smash hit “Barbie.” She wore a D&G vision in grey, a custom dress in all silvery grey, embellished with pearls. Her hair was a simple short bob. She paired matching heels and diamond jewelry with her dress.
Jennifer Aniston – Black Strapless
Jennifer Aniston also opted for a black strapless gown from D&G. Her black dress was simple with fan-shaped adornments all over. What got the most attention was her shorter haircut, a throwback to the heyday of her “Friends” fame with her iconic “Rachel” cut. Her gown kept it simple with black beading and minimal jewelry.
Fantasia Barrino – Classic Embellishments
Former “American Idol” winner and current star in “The Color Purple,” Fantasia Barrino, brought bold glamour back to the red carpet with her dress. Her gown incorporated different layers of looks in a strapless design. It featured a black velvet bodice, white beaded fabric at the hip and a floor-length lavender tulle skirt. She completed her look with black opera gloves.
Helen Mirren – Lush Lilac
Helen Mirren’s look also made a bold statement. She chose lilac for her gown’s color and went with layers and volume for her silhouette. Her gown featured heavy ruching on the bodice and waist. It had full bell-shaped sleeves and a round neckline. She wore a matching lavender dress coat over the gown.
John Krasinski – Dapper Dolce & Gabbana
Star of “The Office,” John Krasinski came out to support his wife, actress and nominee Emily Blunt. His look took color to the next level. Instead of a traditional tuxedo, Krasinski opted for a red velvet jacket and matching maroon pants by D&G.
